Recycled Gift Card Holders

These are made from Toilet Paper Roll's.

All you have to do is 'smush' them . . decorate both sides (I wrap my paper around much easier), decorate the front, sew the bottom end's together somehow (I would have tried machine sewing, but my machine is 'sick' right now) . . . then easily close the top where it is easy to open for the recipent! And there you have it . . . your 'home-made' gift card holders!

These 2 beauties will be going to my son's teachers . . they have some great ones this year!

I decided to try making my own little 'Turkey' that I got the idea from in one of my recent Scrap Magazines. I think he turned out SO cute!

You can either draw his little legs on, hide them . . . or I used my Heart to Heart punch upside down.

K.I.S.S. - PPA8

So I decided to take a stab at this week's challenge over on Paper Pal Arts . . it is K.I.S.S = Keep It Simple, Sweetie!

Well, if you know me . . . simple is NOT an easy task for me on some stuff. But this card came out pretty darn simple per my standards! I have kept up w/ PPA for a while now since my friend Erica mentioned it on her blog. I am LOVING it, thanks Erica!

Blog Hopping Good Time!

It's that time again! Another BLOG Hopping good time! This time w/ the summer over we have 'refreshed' our group. A few got busy w/ their lives and wanted a break, and a few wanted in . . so jump on board and hop along and meet our new circle!!!



The challenge this week . . STAMPING! You know I am all over that!

I stamped the title in 2-tone colors w/ Night of Navy Classic Ink & Chocolate Chip Classic Ink and cut them out separately to add more depth. The 'bys' in 'boys is stamped in Basic Black Classic Ink w/ the Jumbo Outline Alphabet Stamp Set and also cut out separately. The little deer is in the Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, as well as the little owl on the other side of the page. The 'gear's' on the background card stock is stamped w/ Basic Black Classic Ink, but dulled up by 'pre-stamping' it b/f applying it to the card stock.



The large 'clock' is stamped w/ VersaMark for a background clock on the black cardstock, then the 'saying' in Whisper White Craft Ink over it from the Sense of Time Stamp Set. The heart is stamped in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink from the Polka Dot Punches Stamp Set.

Mosi's 2nd Birthday!
